The Yamaha SV-200 Blue Silent Electric 4/4 Violin uses a two pickup configuration to double the _resolution² of the pickup system for greater dynamic range. The pickups are mounted under the bridge with one under the leg on the high string side, the other under the leg on the low string side. The greater resolution allows the instrument to respond in greater detail, providing the performer with the ability to play from pianissimo to fortissimo with greater clarity and ease. The SV-200 utilizes a specially designed circuit that isolates and controls the instrument_s upper harmonics, which have a great influence on the overall tone and sound produced by the instrument. Quality electronic circuitry used in the instrument has made the Yamaha SV-200 Blue Silent Electric 4/4 Violin virtually noise free. For high-end users, the SV-200 is equipped with an EQ mode switch that allows the user to skip the built-in EQ_s default setting so you can take advantage of high-end equalization and tone controls available with professional audio equipment.
